School Of Cosmetology
The School has as it's principle objective the training of Qualified Cosmetology, Manicurusts, Cosmeticians, and to prepare them to pass the State Board examination, to render service to patrons, to conscientiously prepare them to be an asset to their future employers. To present an organized approach to students and patrons by consistently endeavoring to improve the operation by encouraging staff to attend clinics, seminars, etc. to keep abreast with the ever-changing developments and techniques in all phases of our community.
- Veterans are eligible to train at our school, under benefits of Title 38.

I had the pleasure of attending Barber school at the 6th St. Salon in 2011. I really enjoyed my time at the school and felt like my instructors were very supportive in helping me achieve my educational goals. I really enjoyed the chance to learn and work out of a functioning salon. Not only did I get the chance to learn the art of Barbering, I also was able to learn the ins and outs of working in a shop environment.
During my time at 6th St. I felt very supported by the instructors along with the other professional hair dressers who are employed there. It is a great working environment to be part of. One of the true highlights of the school is the people you are with everyday.
To sum it up, I would highly recommend the 6th St. Salon to anyone interested in getting an education in the hair industry. When I left the school I felt more than ready to start my new Barbering career.
